The Wrap Safety Restraint

The WRAP is designed to stop these conflicts quickly, achieve fast de-escalation and provide rapid recovery for both subject & personnel. With fast control achieved, the subject is now restrained comfortably in an upright and seated position for respiratory recovery and receives immediate medical care as needed. Locking shoulder harness

• Convenient back storage pocket for equipment such as spit masks and safety gloves.

The WRAP allows for the ability to both walk a subject as well as provide extremity exercise while maintaining the safety, security, and control of the individual.

• This action also provides staff and personnel with a higher level of safety because of the decreased ability of the subject to move and struggle. If the individual becomes non-compliant, personnel can quickly tighten the straps and/or re-cuff the one arm as needed.

Carrying Handle Option:

• Carrying handles on the leg restraint allows for safe and secure carry of the subject by personnel when needed.

• Security Ring Options:

• A security ring in the front of the leg restraint allows for safe, comfortable, and secure alternate hand placement when needed.

• The harness is used not only in the full application of The WRAP but also during routine transport of a handcuffed subject. If a concern exists that the subject will move their handcuffed hands from behind their body to the front, utilize this additional security ring to eliminate that potential behavior.

Transport 

• When the need for a range of motion movement of a subject occurs or to move a subject when walking is needed, The WRAP allows personnel to walk the subject in The WRAP. This is a safe, secure, controlled, and comfortable movement alternative for all personnel involved.

Cleaning/Warranty

Cleaning The WRAP is easy!

Here are two commonly used methods:

1. Self-Cleaning While wearing protective goggles, gloves and mask, get a bucket of hot soapy water with the appropriate amount of bleach. You can also add another cleaning agent if desired. Do not use solvents. Clean thoroughly with a non-wire scrub brush until cleaning is achieved. Rinse thoroughly with a hose and spray nozzle. After cleaning, you can also spray The WRAP with Lysol or an enviroside if desired. Make sure WRAP is completely dry prior to placing the unit back into the bag. The WRAP is now ready to use again.

2. A Local Crime Scene Cleaner If professional cleaning is desired, find a local crime scene cleaner. This is their area of expertise and should return The WRAP to you clean, dry, and ready to use.

Warranty:

The WRAP is warrantied for 1 year from delivery for defects with parts or labor.  For warranty eligibility, please reach out to us directly.
