WRAP Equipment Cleaning:
Cleaning should include the following supplies:
Personal protective gloves and face covering is recommended.
Hot soapy bucket of water with the right amount of bleach (read the back of the bottle)
Soft bristled scrub brush
Good water source
A disinfectant spray like Lysol or another ‘enviroside’
Wash, rinse and repeat to clean to the proper level of sanitation desired. Let the unit fully air dry before packing so as to avoid developing a musty smell/mold.
Cautions: Cleaning is recommended to be done by hand for extending the life of the unit. The WRAP should not be placed in a washer of dryer to avoid damage to all machines. Also, avoid high-pressure washers to clean The WRAP that will unnecessarily damage the unit from the high-pressure capabilities of that item.
If you have a unit that is particularly soiled, you can always seek out a local ‘crime scene cleaner’ in your area. This is their specialty and should do a good job disinfecting and cleaning your equipment.
Conditional Warranty:
Safe Restraints provides a 1-year warranty for defects in parts or craftsmanship. Repair or replacement of item will be executed as needed.
Safe Restraints also provides repair support for equipment outside the 1-year period mentioned above for a period of 7 years from purchase. The department’s responsibility is to provide shipping to and from the manufacture and the manufacture will provide the repair support at no cost.
The conditions where repairs would not be performed:
If the item is over 7 years old.
If the item is wore out/exhausted its useful life
If catastrophic damage has occurred such as being burnt, cut or otherwise had it’s structural integrity compromised. In these cases, a new item is recommended to be purchased.
